Alfa Romeo Giulia wins the title of "Best Car"

In Germany, Giulia takes top spot in the mid-size/import category according to readers of “auto motor und sport”.
The 2021 edition of the “Best Cars Awards” crowns the Alfa Romeo Giulia for the 4^th time in 5 years.
More than 101,000 readers voted for their favorites from 378 vehicle models on the German market.

Another prestigious award for the Alfa Romeo Giulia, the car magazine "auto motor und sport" having named it "Best Car 2021". Readers voted for the Italian sports sedan as the winner in the mid-size/import category – for the fourth time in the past five years. With a share of 22 percent of the vote, the Alfa Romeo Giulia prevailed against 14 competitors. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta and Alfa Romeo Stelvio, second and third in their respective categories, complete Alfa Romeo's success in the "Best Car 2021" awards.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia’s 4^th victory in 5 years at the “Best Cars Awards” serves as further proof of the unwavering enthusiasm among car fans in Germany. This is shown not only by the victory of the Giulia, but also by the top rankings of the Stelvio and Giulietta models in their respective categories.

More than 101,000 readers took part in the 45^th edition of the "Best Cars" competition, held by the trade magazine "auto, motor und sport". They had the choice between 387 models divided into 11 categories, including separate acknowledgments for import vehicles. The awards ceremony took place virtually for the first time.

En terecht! Spijtig dat het een goed bewaard geheim blijft

Klinkt alsof de Giulia best of class scoort, maar het betreft (1) de keuze van de lezer én (2) de 'import categorie' (dus alles wat niet Duits is). Alfa spint dat weer handig zodat het klinkt alsof de Giulia ook de A4 of de '3 of de C-klasse of de Passat of whatnot overklast op basis van objectieve testcriteria oid, maar 't gaat dus om de sympathiestem van de lezer van AMS. (Uiteraard Duitsers, dus men bepale zelf hoeveel zout men nodig heeft om de scores te kruiden.)

Ik dacht precies hetzelfde maar was te lui om dat hier te zeggen en ik vond ook niet direct die link van jou terug waarop alle auto's in die restcategorie stonden. Waarvoor dank dus
